The Order of Mass

Brothers and Sisters:
I am please to announce the different changes on the Order of Mass according of our Catholic Faith.

WHO MADE THE CHANGES?
The Commission of the Sacred Liturgy  (The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops  and confirmed by the Apostolic See) They have been approved the changes of the Roman Missal, Third Edition.

WHAT IS THE REAZON TO CHANGE?
In the Roman Rite of the Church, the Mass was celebrated in Latin for centuries. After the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s, the prayers of the liturgy were translated into vernacular language of a given country to encourage more active participation by the people.  Now the Sacred Liturgy change the translation in the most faithful from Latin to English. This is the reason of the changes.

AS CATHOLICS DO WE ACCEPT THIS?
From our Catholic Faith and obey the Church, who speak through the Pope and Bishops. We must accept the changes.

Is THE MASS CHANGING?
The essence of the Mass is not changing, but the way it is celebrated will be noticeably different. While the structure and order of the Mass will remain the same, same prayers and responses of the liturgy have been newly translated into English from the original Latin text. The most significant change people will notice, however, is the new translation of the actual words of the Mass.

WHEN WILL WE START USING THE NEW TRANSLATION?
The new translation will be officially promulgated for use in the liturgy on November 27, 2011, which is the first Sunday of Advent and the beginning of the Church’s new liturgical year.

WE FIND THE CHANGES IN THE FOLLOWING…
1) The Greeting. 2) I confess. 3) The Gloria. 4) The Creed. 5) The Holy. 6) The words of Institution. 7) The Lamb of God.

Next week I will give you the whole prayers and I will mark the words that will change.

Thank you very much for your attention.  May the Lord bless you always?
